"Spencer Burke [Newport Beach, CA] is the creator of TheOOZE.com, which receives 250,000 visitors a month, and of ETREK.com, a website facilitating the formation and curriculum for alternative learning groups. He is the host of Soularize: A Learning Party, which is the original postmodern/emergent annual conference. Spencer is a popular and provocative speaker and nationally recognized expert on emerging trends for the church and spirituality. The media recognize him as a key spokesperson, thought leader, and prime mover of postmodern/emergent faith (featured in The Christian Science Monitor, Relevant Magazine, homiletics.com and on NPR).
