CL Ward writes childrens stories. He is a College Professor teaching English to International Students at Houston Community College in Houston, Texas, and in-coming Freshmen at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
Ward is active in church and community. He is married to the beautiful Carol who is his great encourager in these endeavors. He has five children and eleven (at last count) grandchildren. There's a dog, Jackson and two cats, Buster and Pixie who share living quarters with him and his wife.
His first book was entitled "Portia the Porcupine Visits the Doctor" about a little Porcupine who has a fear of vaccinations and his second book, "Delta the Duck Who Was Afraid of Water". who has aquaphobia.
Ward's Children's Books address certain childhood phobias. His books also can be used as teaching tools, with plenty of vocabulary and science as it pertains to each of his main characters.
Look for additional stories in the coming months. Next up is "Hilton the Pygmy Hippo and His Fear of Spiders" followed by "Roxie the Dog Who was Afraid of Thunder".
