Carol Fertig

Carol Fertig was born and raised in the Chicago area. She lived briefly in Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Nebraska before moving to Colorado where she has resided since 1970. She was active in the education community for more than 40 years and involved in gifted education for more than 20 years. At various times she was employed as a classroom teacher, gifted education teacher, consultant, writer, and editor. In her spare time, she enjoys golf, practicing piano, reading, travel, and cultural events. She wrote the highly successful "Prufrock's Gifted Child Information Blog" for more than six years. Her book, "Raising a Gifted Child," was awarded the Legacy Book® Award in 2009.
