Joni Sensel

Joni Sensel is the author of more than a dozen nonfiction titles for adults and six novels for young readers, including a Junior Library Guild selection and a Center for Children’s Books “Best Book.” Her most recent adult title is Feeling Fate: A Memoir of Love, Intuition, and Spirit—a grief memoir with a paranormal twist that won a Gold Award from the 2022 Living Now Book Awards. Her most recent novel is A Curse on the Wind, a YA historical fantasy set in 1909 Ohio.

Joni holds an MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and teaches workshops on writing and creativity topics. Other adventures have taken her to the corners of fifteen countries, the heights of the Cascade Mountains, the length of an Irish marathon, and the depths of love.
