Terri P. Smith

Terri P. Smith was born in Provo, Utah. She completed a bachelor's degree in public relations at Brigham Young University. After serving a religious mission in Paris, France, she worked for U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch. While working in Washginton, D.C., she met and married her best friend, and they are the parents of five children. While raising their children, Mrs. Smith volunteered in PTA, the Girl Scouts, Utah Winter Olympics, as a preschool vision screener and coordinator for Friends for Sight, and a second religious mission in family history data processing. Through her volunteer activities, she has learned that the Lord provides the way to accomplish these much-needed services. Her first book, When Your Parent Remarries Late in Life, was the result of a challenge to write a book on a topic she did not understand. Hooked on writing, she wrote her second book, Faith, Family, Friends, Fortitude, to answer questions of those desiring to know more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
