Joyce Armstrong Carroll

Joyce Armstrong Carroll, Ed.D., H.L.D., writer and teacher, trains teachers in the teaching of writing, and novelists and academicians for publication. She co-directs the Abydos Learning international formerly the New Jersey Writing Project in Texas and travels throughout Texas and the United States giving workshops on what she loves--writing and the teaching of writing. Her many publications include Acts of Teaching: How to Teach Writing, The Best of Dr. JAC, Jesus Didn't Use Worksheets, Dr. JAC's Phonics Friendly Books, and the Prentice Hall Writing and Grammar Series: Grades Six through Twelve. She co-edited the award-winning poetry anthology Poetry After Lunch: Poems to Read Aloud.
