Alex Klaushofer

Alex Klaushofer is an author and journalist who has written extensively on social and affairs and politics in Britain and Middle East. Her work has appeared in publications such as the Guardian and Daily Telegraph, and as contributions to BBC Radio.

Her books combine reportage, travel writing and one or two other genres. 'Paradise Divided' tells the human stories of modern-day Lebanon and explores the mix of social, religious and political forces that make up this complex country. 'The Secret Life of God' is a kind of spiritual investigation into twenty-first century Britain which chronicles how, in an ostensibly secular age, people are finding new ways of believing and belonging.

'Orphaned Foxes: A true tale of rescue and release' is a short read – longer than an article but shorter than a book – which recounts the author's experiences in helping to rear wild foxes.

'Spyless in Tirana: an Albanian adventure' is a travelogue about the Albanian capital thirty years after the fall of the communist dictatorship.
