Virginia C. Johnson

Working by day as a Public Communications Librarian, in her off hours, she has written three books - Virginia Horse Racing: Triumphs of the Turf (co-authored with Barbara Crookshanks in 2008), Virginia by Stagecoach (2019), and Virginia Honey: A Sweet History (2021). All titles are from History Press/Arcadia Publishing.

Virginia graduated with a degree in anthropology from the College of William and Mary, where she met future husband/fellow writer Steve, who charmed her with his words and wildflowers. She went on to get a master's degree in library and information science from the University of Maryland.

She has always loved history, animals, and any chance to combine the two.
