Patrick Cotter

Patrick Cotter lives in Cork, Ireland, where he works as a curator of literary festivals. He has published several chapbooks, a verse novella and three full-length collections of poetry including Perplexed Skin ( Arlen House/ Syracuse U.P. 2008), Making Music (Three Spires Press, 2009) and Sonoc White Poise (Dedalus Press, 2021) Recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Awl, The Financial Times, Five Dials, London Review of Books, Poetry, Poetry Review, Poetry Ireland Review, PN Review and Prelude. In 2013 he received the Keats-Shelley Prize and featured in a podcast in the Poetry Foundation's "International Poets in Conversation" series. He guest-edited an issue of POETRY (Chicago) in 2015.gu

Substantial selections of his work have been translated and published in Croatia and Estonia. In 2015 No One Knows, a Macedonian-English bilingual book was published by PNV Publishing. He is not the author of Shadows of Deceit.
