Alexandra Senfft

Alexandra Senfft is a writer and a freelance journalist for German and international media. She focuses on Sinti and Roma (Romani people), Palestine and Israel, flight and migration, anti-Semitism, anti-Gypsyism and anti-Muslim resentments. Above all, Alexandra Senfft deals with the intergenerational consequences of the Holocaust and Nazi persecution and how these affect German society until today. Her approach is a biographical one, given that history and politics can be vividly and tangibly conveyed through people's lives. Alexandra Senfft is the second chairwoman of the Study Group on Intergenerational Consequences of the Holocaust as well as an advisor to the board of the Dachau Concentration Camp Community (Lagergemeinschaft Dachau) and a member of PEN Berlin.
