Fay A. Klingler

Fay A. Klingler, author and illustrator, is an award-winning creative and technical writer, as well as a sought-after motivational speaker for women’s groups and radio and television audiences. Her expertise includes successful patterns for life, effective grandparenting, and betrayal recovery.

“Of the books I have written,” said Fay, “I don’t think I have a favorite. Most of them have won awards; all are heavily endorsed. That has been gratifying. I didn’t write them for acclaim though. I wrote them to help others.

“The reception I received for my children’s book—I Am Strong! I Am Smart!—brought me great joy. The book is now a two-time award winner! It was honored as a finalist in the USA Best Book Awards in the Children’s Religious category, and it won secon d place in the LDSPMA international book awards. To write the story, I heard the main character’s voice in my head (as sometimes happens in fiction). Her name turned out to be Louisa May. She told the story to me, and I wrote it down!
