Peter Hancock's first book, CORNWALL AT WAR, was published by Halsgrove in 2002 and subsequently has been re-printed a number of times. THE MINING HERITAGE OF CORNWALL AND WEST DEVON appeared in 2008, and its companion volume MINING WALKS IN CORNWALL AND WEST DEVON in 2011. He also follows developments in modern architecture and environmental technology, leading to the recently published BUILDING ON OUR PAST (Code Green Publishing), looking at how modern sustainable environmental ideas can be combined with traditional building methods. Peter's most recent project has been the novel LETTER MAN published on Kindle. When not writing he works as a teacher, and has produced three school text books. Other interests include classic cars, which led to a regular column in Triumph World magazine for a number of years, as well as contributions to other publications.
