Joshua Corey

Joshua Corey is a novelist and poet. His latest book, THE LAST WORDS OF JACK RUBY, is, according to Library Journal, "[a] daring literary work that expertly blends deep psychological inquiry with bold historical speculation." Other recent works include HANNAH AND THE MASTER, a speculative masque about the relationship between Hannah Arendt and Martin Heidegger, and the novel HOW LONG IS NOW, a shaggy-dog story about grief. He maintains a Substack, Dream of a Rarebit Fiend, where he mostly writes literary essays about his beloved Aubrey-Maturin novels.

He lives in Evanston, Illinois with his family and is a professor of English and creative writing at Lake Forest College.
