Author

Steve Wharton was born in 1957 in a town in the North East of England called Middlesbrough, which is at the northern most tip of North Yorkshire.

Middlesbrough is a traditional industrial town with major Chemical and Steel Work plants, as well as home to Teesport the third largest port in the UK. Running along the northern edge of the town is the River Tees.

Immediately south of Middlesbrough is the North Yorkshire Moors with some of the most beautiful countryside in England, home to towns and fishing ports like Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and Saltburn. Not to mention the glorious City of York only forty-fives miles to the south.

After spending his first eight years in Middlesbrough in 1966 his family moved to Seaton Carew a seaside resort some seven miles north and part of a larger town called Hartlepool formerly know as West Hartlepool.

From 1966 to 1971 he went to boarding school in Durham City twenty miles further north. Then he attended the Technical High School for Boys in Hartlepool until 1974.

It was during the summer of 1973 that Steve first began to search for answers and read books about self-development. This would lead to a lifetime of studying, researching and writing.

He is the author of over twenty books all incorporating the concept of ‘High Vibrational Thinking’, a concept that he originated and named over forty years ago. The books cover a range of topics.

As well as being a published author with Foulsham Publishers and Hay House Publishing India, he has books translated into different languages and on sale all around the world.

He has converted some of the HVT work into courses such as the very successful anti-bullying course for schools based on his book 'How to Stop that Bully'. As well as being approached by the highly esteemed and leaders in Britain in working with young people, 'The Counselling Service' in Birmingham to ask if they could use his work. They liked it because of its simplicity. No higher endorsement could be obtained.

For five years he was editor of the inspirational Yes! Magazine and spent three years writing and running various HVT courses for Social Services. These included How to Tackle Bullying, Anti-social Behaviour, Peer Pressure, Anger Management and Self-esteem Building.

Steve has put together HVT work for a range of different business clients including a leading Premiership Football Club, Professional Golfers; one of the UK's leading Banking Organisations and has worked with many individuals on a personal basis.
