Andrew Roden

Andrew Roden is a railway journalist, author and campaigner, with four successful books published in print - 'Flying Scotsman', 'The Duchesses', 'Great Western Railway: A History' and 'Trains to the Trenches' to which he now holds exclusive publishing rights.

The Deputy Editor of Modern Railways, and Sub-Editor of sister magazine Hornby Magazine, Roden gained a reputation for his flamboyant and colourful features, and reporting of breaking news stories. His published books sold and reviewed extremely well, and after remastering 'Flying Scotsman' from the original manuscript will soon be remastering 'The Duchesses' and 'Great Western Railway'.

He lives in Cornwall and is a regular commentator on regional television and radio on transport matters.
