Scott D. Mackie

Scott D. Mackie has taught biblical studies at Chapman University, Loyola Marymount University, and Fuller Seminary. His scholarship centers on ancient Jewish and early Christian mysticism. He has authored and/or edited Eschatology and Exhortation in the Epistle to the Hebrews (Mohr Siebeck 2007), The Letter to the Hebrews: Critical Readings (Bloomsbury 2018), and Ancient Texts, Papyri, and Manuscripts: Studies in Honor of James R. Royse (Brill 2022), as well as a number of articles, which have appeared in such journals as Journal of Biblical Literature, New Testament Studies, The Studia Philonica Annual, Journal for the Study of Judaism, Catholic Biblical Quarterly, Journal of Theological Studies, Tyndale Bulletin, and the Journal for the Study of the New Testament.
