I am a feminist researcher and writer living and working on Whadjuk land in Western Australia. I strive to bring the stories of erased or forgotten women and their role in history to centre stage. I called Singapore home for twelve years during which time I made lasting friendships, guided the city's museums, began my fiction writing career and found publication. I have a PhD in Creative Writing from Edith Cowan University in Perth. I'm passionate about history, writing and heritage.
I've published six historical fiction novels and numerous short stories. A new foray into historical crime fiction "Tokyo Time" will be published by Brash Books, USA in 2023.
