Luis Millones

In the words of Luis Millones:

I’m the man who writes about other people’s imagination. I write especially about their hopes of reaching power and glory and their transformation into divine beings, either sympathetic or hostile. Thus gods and demons occupy a preferential place in my books. The ones I read are fantasies or hallucinations that I do not need to believe in, but they amuse me and give me strength to walk through the world and the times I live in.

The seas and deserts are the landscapes that I foresee as my next realms of exploration. I want to study those and gather experience from them. Up to now, mountains, valleys and canyons have provided me with the living beings (plants and animals) that coexist with humans, are hosted in their thoughts and are part of their dreams.

My narrative makes always reference to the past, but only as it extends towards or can be reinforced by what is relevant in our present time. I do not know if that makes me a historian, an anthropologist or a literature scholar, all those categories escape my interest. I prefer to continue just being the man that writes.
