Susana Vieri

Susana Vieri is an Argentine writer born in Buenos Aires in 1953 whose fiction moves between historical narrative, fantasy, mystery, and adventure. Since her first publications in the 1990s, she has developed a distinctive body of work shaped by shifting timelines, encounters between different eras, and an enduring exploration of the human condition.

Her works include Román cabalga sobre la palabra oportunidad, Sharanzen, La saga de los Liñán, Hara y el tiempo, and El caballero del espejo. Throughout her career, Vieri has blended historical settings with characters confronting secrets, conflict, passion, and realities that challenge the boundaries of the known world. Hara y el tiempo was also adapted for the stage, while El caballero del espejo further developed the fictional universe surrounding Ulises Rivera.

In Betelgeuse, published in 2024 by Universo de Letras, Vieri brings Ulises Rivera back for a new journey in search of a truth hidden for thousands of years—a mystery involving a secret portal, powerful forces, Patagonia, and the very fabric of time.

Through her novels and short stories, Susana Vieri invites readers into worlds where history and imagination intersect, and where every mystery ultimately leads to a deeper question about identity, truth, and destiny.
