The primary focus of my writting is on the intellectual and commercial exchanges that have been taking place between the United States of America and Asia since the second half of the nineteenth century. I do this through Hamiltonian studies, examining how Hamiltonian ideas moved from the United states to Japan and then through Asia. I am also a constant author on Singapore political economy and commerce, having previously lived and worked in the city state for some time. As a resular visitor to Japan over the last decade plus it takes little to draw me back as it is a country my wife and I never tire of exploring and engaging.
