Aris Petasis is a scholar and strategy consultant who has served diverse multinational organisations across various countries, continents and cultures. To further his education his parents put him as a child in the boarding school of the American Academy, that was set up by American missionaries. Formerly a Post-Doctoral Fellow and holder of degrees at: Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral levels all funded through American merit-based scholarships. He is a popular speaker and debater, and student of Greek, British, European, Russian, American, Southern African and Egyptian history. He authored several books in English and edited a strategy book with "Leadership Triumphs & Failures" (2019) being his last work. His Board memberships also include: Founding member of the Board of Trustees of the International Fund at the Tsyolkovsky Moscow State Aviation University and member of the Board of Governors of the University of Limassol. He is periodically invited by respected academic journals to review academic papers and to write book reviews. He is the author of numerous articles that typically have at their centre Middle Eastern affairs of which he has a firm grasp as a result of his interest in matters pertaining to this turbulent region.
He lived most of his life in conflict-ridden countries and areas and as such experienced the uncertainties and turmoil described in this book.
