G.A. Chinni

Guillermo Chinni was born in Patagonia and spent part of his childhood in Australia, where wide horizons shaped his curiosity and sense of wonder. A scientific communicator and professor in Buenos Aires, he writes fiction and nonfiction, using scientific insight and literary depth to explore how technology, memory, and the natural world shape the way we live, remember, and create meaning.

His work has appeared in The Times (UK), Journal of Glaciology, and Nature Scientific Reports. He is the author of Glaciares de la Patagonia and Our Virtual Hearts, has produced a documentary on Patagonia’s glaciers, and his fiction works received Honourable Mentions at the 2024 International Latino Book Awards.

For him, writing is about following questions—even when there are no easy answers—tracing the invisible threads that connect us across distances, cultures, and time.
