Gerald R. Ledlow

Dr. Ledlow is a board certified healthcare administrator with 33 years of successful practical and academic experience in leadership and management positions; his experience includes over eleven years in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps, nearly three years in corporate healthcare and sixteen years in academia. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has successfully led multiple teams of diverse professionals, from as many as seventy-five to smaller teams, in military, corporate, educational and academic programs. He has co-authored nine volumes of texts/books to include a nationally recognized textbook on healthcare leadership, in 3d edition (earned a Doody’s Review Service 5 Star and 100 out of 100 score). Dr. Ledlow is the developer of the Dynamic Culture Leadership Model, the Inter-professional Team Model called PAARP, the Strategic Relationship Assessment Model called CAAVE with an assessment instrument called the CaTİ (with Dr. Karl Manrodt) used by the Vested Outsourcing Group™, and the Emergency Preparedness Assessment System called the GREaTİ System. He is the former chair of the MD Anderson Cancer Center – UTHEALTH Northeast Quality and Metrics Group. Currently, he is Dean in the School of Community and Rural Health for University of Texas Health Science Center Northeast and Professor, Department of Healthcare Policy, Economics and Management. He is married for 26 years to his wonderful wife Silke and is the father to three daughters.
