Richard Craig

Richard Craig is a professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at San Jose State University. He is the author of four journalism-related books and has been an adviser to the Spartan Daily student news outlet since 2002.

Craig has spoken at numerous conferences in the U.S. and abroad. His journalistic work has appeared in The New York Times, the San Jose Mercury News, the Miami Herald, and many other outlets. He earned a Ph.D. in Communications at the University of Illinois in 1995, and was a reporter and editor for six years at newspapers in California and Illinois.
