Lloyd M. Hulit (1945- ) was born in Ashland, Ohio on the day the Japanese part of WWII ended, August 14, 1945. His father worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development, which meant he spent a significant number of his developmental years overseas -- South Korea, Libya, Egypt, Iran, and Germany. He taught at Illinois State University for 32 years before retiring in 2003. He has published, including revisions, 10 books. He continues to preach whenever the opportunity arises. He has been married to his wife, Pam, since 1966. They have two daughters and five grandchildren. One of the passions of Lloyd's life is coaching. He began coaching, including softball, baseball, football, and basketball in 1967. He has coached boys and girls, men and women at the junior high, high school, and college levels and currently coaches baseball in the spring, summer, and fall. He adores his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and devotes every day of his life to becoming a better, more productive servant of God.
