Dr. Christopher Paul is the United States Marine Corps Chair for Information at Naval Postgraduate School. In that role he engages in teaching, research, mentorship, advocacy, and policy advising related to information as a joint function and as a warfighting function.
Prior to arriving at NPS in 2023, Paul was a Senior Social Scientist at the RAND Corporation, where he has worked in one capacity or another since 1996. He has developed methodological competencies in comparative historical and case study approaches, quantitative analysis, evaluation research, and survey research.
Paul has spoken, presented, taught, or lectured in the Pentagon, for NATO audiences, to defense audiences in Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Poland, and in the United Kingdom, at the National Defense University, at the Army War College, at the School of Advanced Military Studies - Army Command and General Staff College, at the Air Force Special Operations School, and at the State Department's Foreign Service Institute, among others.
