David Pickering

'The maven of reference book writers', David Pickering has written, contributed to, edited, or ghosted well over 350 reference books for major British and American publishers. His works on history, folklore, language, theatre, etc. have won many fans and have led to numerous appearances in television and radio studios. Among other books, the enduringly popular dictionaries of Witchcraft and Superstitions are now available here as ebooks. One of his stories was long-listed for The Guardian Short Story Contest, judged by Stephen King, in 2016.
