Jay Gilbertson

Jay Gilbertson, author of the Madeline Island Series (Kensington Books) grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and now lives on an 80 acre, organic certified farm in NW Wisconsin. He worked in the family china & glassware business since 12, all the way through college. He also has dabbled in being a bartender, banquet waiter, bookseller, hotel accountant, hair salon owner, beekeeper, hospice volunteer, local newspaper president, pumpkin seed oil farmer/producer and monthly book reviewer. Gilbertson is married, has a black cat named Buster and makes incredible bread.
