John T. Hancock

John T. Hancock is a professor in molecular biology, teaching and carrying out research at UWE, Bristol. He has authored several editions of "Cell Signalling”, the latest being in the Primer series, published by Oxford University Press. He has also written three books on animal welfare and behaviour: “Why Elephants Cry”; “Animal Welfare in a Pandemic”; “Animal Behaviour, Welfare, and Interactions in Sports and Recreational Environments” (all published by CRC Press). In fiction he has written a number of books, starting with "Grass" and "Zoneless", but more recently “The Ethnic Artist”, “Murders on the Ski Slopes” and "Inka: Jack and Sofia”, all published by Kindle Direct Publishing. He lives near Bristol, UK with his wife and family.
