Robert Allen Copeland

Robert A. Copeland, Ph.D. is a prominent biomedical sciences entrepreneur, pharmacologist, and author widely recognized for his extensive contributions to precision medicine and targeted oncology drug discovery. He has advanced 21 investigational new drugs into human clinical trials, five of which are FDA-approved medicines. He has contributed over 200 publications to the scientific literature and has authored seven textbooks in the areas of protein sciences, enzymology and drug discovery. He is currently Venture Partner at Atlas Venture, an Advisor to Goggle Ventures (GV), and an Adjunct Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine, The University of Pennsylvania. Copeland is a Fellow of the AAAS and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
