William M. Ulrich

William Ulrich is President of TSG, Inc., Partner at Business Architecture Associates, Cutter Consortium Fellow and Business Architecture Guild® Co-founder. Mr. Ulrich serves as senior advisor, mentor, and workshop leader to major corporations and government agencies. He is a thought leader in the field of strategy execution, business architecture and business-driven IT transformation. Mr. Ulrich incorporates his IT transformation expertise with his extensive business architecture and business transformation experience to help organizations successfully realize a wide range of business strategies.

Mr. Ulrich contributed to the formation of the Business Architecture Guild’s, business architecture framework and the de facto business architecture approach used worldwide. Active in the international standards community, he has contributed to a wide range of global business and IT standards. Mr. Ulrich is an originating contributor to “A Guide to the Business Architecture Body of Knowledge®” and coauthor of “Business Architecture: The Art and Practice of Business Transformation” (MK Press) and “Information Systems Transformation” (Morgan Kaufmann Elsevier). Prior to founding TSG, Inc., Mr. Ulrich served in various management positions at KPMG, including serving as Director of Reengineering Strategies where he pioneered various IT transformation approaches.
