Martin E. Latz

ABC News’ Good Morning America anchor George Stephanopoulos has called Marty Latz “one of the most accomplished and persuasive negotiators I know.” The founder of the Latz Negotiation Institute, a national training and consulting firm, Latz also taught negotiation for ten years as an adjunct professor at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.

Since 1995, Latz has taught more than 100,000 lawyers and business professionals around the world how to negotiate more effectively – including in Hong Kong, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Prague, Brussels, Seoul and Bangkok – and has negotiated for the White House nationally and internationally on the White House Advance Teams.

Latz is the author of "Gain the Edge! Negotiating to Get What You Want" (St. Martin’s Press, 2004) and his newest book "The Real Trump Deal: An Eye-opening Look at How He Really Negociates.” He has appeared as a negotiation expert on CBS’ The Early Show and such national business shows as CNN’s Your Money and Fox Business.

Since 1999, he has written a monthly negotiation column for various newspapers, including The Arizona Republic and The Business Journal of Phoenix.

Latz received his law and negotiation training at Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude. He was also a Teaching Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, where one of his students was former President Barack Obama.
