Duncan Pritchard

Duncan Pritchard FRSE is UC Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Irvine. He works mainly in epistemology, and has published widely in this area, including the application of epistemological ideas to such domains as religion, law, and cognitive science. In 2007 he was awarded the Philip Leverhulme Prize. In 2011 he was elected to a Fellowship of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. In 2013 he delivered the annual Soochow Lectures in Philosophy in Taipei.
