David G. Kamien

David G. Kamien is the president and founder of DGK LLC Homeland Security Management Consulting. He is also the founder of Mind-Alliance Systems, a company pioneering the development of software and methodology for cross-domain homeland security information sharing needs analysis. Mr. Kamien has 20 years of experience in security, technology policy, and management consulting, and he is the editor of The McGraw-Hill Homeland Security Handbook. Born and raised in New York, Mr. Kamien lived in Israel from 1980-2001 where he served as in the Israel Defense Forces. From 2000-2005, Mr. Kamien consulted to homeland security technology companies including Honeywell, Marsh, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, NYPR, Raytheon, Siemens, and TIBCO Software. Previously Mr. Kamien conducted international technology policy analysis and regulatory strategy consulting for Israel's Antitrust Authority and Ministry of Communications and a leading Tel-Aviv law firm and a Silicon Valley consulting firm. He holds a BA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Law Degree from Israel's Academic College of Law.
