Matthew Geller

I've been working with computers since my Dad bought me an Apple II in 1980. Oops, I just dated myself.

Helping people to form better relationships with their technology is my passion, and I've been very blessed in being able to do that in many ways.

As an instructor, I teach classes in creative applications, mostly Apple's Pro Apps. As a senior trainer for Apple, I also teach trainers how to deliver classes to end users. As an author for Peachpit, I've been involved in the creation of many of the books in the Apple Pro Training Series, most notably the Optimizing FCP book and the Xsan Quick Reference Guide.

I have my own consultancy as well, Meta Media Creative Technologies. We have over 35 clients, creative and broadcast facilities worldwide, who we support.

I live my life by the quote from John Coltrane, spoken very late in his life: "I have to keep experimenting. I feel I'm just beginning. I have part of what I want in my grasp, but not all."
