Nayan Shah

Nayan Shah is a historian whose books explore how people migrate, confront illness, endure confinement and imprisonment in the past and the present, in the United States and across the globe. He is professor of American Studies and Ethnicity and History at the University of Southern California. He appears in documentaries on PBS and the History Channel.
