Patricia Smiley

Patricia Smiley is the author of nine mystery novels, including the humorous Tucker Sinclair series (False Profits, Cover Your Assets, Short Change, and Cool Cache), the Pacific Homicide police procedural series (Pacific Homicide, Outside the Wire, and The Second Goodbye), and the Justice Bay series, traditional mysteries in a cozy setting (A Dark September Night and A Cold November Murder). Her short fiction has been featured in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine and Two of the Deadliest, an anthology edited by Elizabeth George. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and International Thriller Writers.
