Nancy Akhavan

I am a former teacher, principal and assistant superintendent who loves working in classrooms everyday to help teachers and students learn. I also work with leadership teams to implement high quality, coherent literacy programs. I am currently Associate Professor at Fresno State in the Department of Educational Leadership. I am also a literacy consultant who works nationally and internationally. I enjoy helping teachers and leaders everywhere implement practices that make a difference for all students. My passion is to ensure all teachers and students have equitable and powerful learning experiences.
