T. Lynn Ocean

An author of present-day Southern fiction, T. Lynn Ocean's goal is simple: to entertain readers.

She was first published in the 'North Myrtle Beach Times', a local weekly paper -- but only after getting on one knee to beg the publisher and offering to write for free. That was a very long time ago, but T. Lynn wrote the paper's 'Humor Me' column for a year. Since then

she went on to publish feature articles for local and national magazines, but her passion turned to fiction. She got her start with literary agent Stacey Glick and had several novels published by St. Martin's Press before venturing out on her own.

She's been a guest author at book festivals in SC, FL, and VA and likes to brag that she was invited to sign alongside Nora Roberts (by Nora herself) several years ago. The event was in Boonsboro, MD at a quaint store that Nora and her husband own. There were five female authors, a steady stream of enthusiastic fans, and much fun was had by all!

Ocean's books have received praise from reviewers including "Publishers Weekly", "Booklist", and "Romantic Times" as well as bestselling authors such as Celia Rivenbark, Mary Alice Monroe and Cassandra King. But T. Lynn will quickly tell anyone who asks that reviews from readers are the most rewarding of all.
