Shirl Brainard

Shirl Brainard is a retired Design & Color Theory instructor from a mid-western community college. Her published text book is A DESIGN MANUAL, 4 editions. Shirl has been an active painter for the last 20 years until she decided to reinvent herself and become a fiction writer. Her suspense short stories are based on the non-fictional art world, but with fictional characters and plots. The stories are meant to entertain readers with information, intrigue and surprise.
