Ernest E. Burden

Ernest Burden, Assoc. AIA, is an author and marketing communications consultant serving design profes¬sionals nationwide. As a speaker on presentation and media strategy, he appears frequently at conventions of the American Institute of Architects and Society for Marketing Professional Services. He also conducts in-house workshops for design firms and has conducted numerous national workshop tours. He has been both publisher and editor of industry newsletters to the design professions on client interviews and proposal strategies, presentation techniques, client criteria and marketing tool preparation. A successful author, his books include Architectural Delineation, Design Presentation and Entourage, including three illustrated dictionaries: Architecture, Preservation, and Construction, all published by McGraw-Hill. Burden studied under Bruce Goff at the University of Oklahoma, from which he received a Bachelor of Architecture degree, and now holds a Master's degree in Architectural Preservation.
