Jody C. Baumgartner

Jody C Baumgartner is Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Professor, in the political science department at East Carolina University. He received his PhD in political science from Miami University in 1998, specializing in the study of campaigns and elections. He has a number of books to his credit and has written or collaborated on numerous articles and book chapters on political humor, the vice presidency, and other subjects.
