I'm Donna Fletcher, a USA Today bestselling author, and I've been writing stories for more than three decades. With over 60 published books, I've had the pleasure of taking readers on countless adventures, introducing them to unforgettable characters, powerful heroes, courageous heroines, and love stories that stand the test of time.

Scottish historical romance has always held a special place in my heart, but my imagination doesn't like to stay in one place. Over the years, I've explored paranormal and western romance, ventured into Scottish historical fantasy romance, and even let my love of humor and a good mystery lead me to create the Pepper the Prepper romantic mystery series.

That same curiosity carries over into my everyday life. I love learning new things, exploring different interests, and discovering inspiration in unexpected places. Spending time with family is especially important to me.

One of the greatest pleasures of my writing career has been connecting with readers. I love sharing bits about myself, everyday life, and a good laugh in my newsletter. And I'm especially grateful for the many readers who take the time to share their own stories and experiences with me.

Of course, I'm not on this journey alone. I have my trusty, lovable German Shepherd, Cree, named after one of my favorite characters, by my side. And then there's Sweety, a stray cat who decided my house was his home and who, despite his name, is anything but sweet.

After all these years, I've gotten used to characters and plots filling my head. I think I'd be lost without them. I love getting to know them and diving into their stories, even when they can be a bit temperamental. I can't imagine that ever changing.
