Thomas I. White

I am the Conrad N. Hilton Professor Emeritus of Business Ethics/Loyola Marymount University, and I am Founder and Director of IBECC: The International Business Ethics Case Competition. I currently reside in Amherst, MA.

My books can be considered 'applied ethics.' SOCRATES COMES TO WALL STREET challenges the presuppositions about business that led to the 2008 meltdown and that continue to produce ongoing corporate scandals. IN DEFENSE OF DOLPHINS and a number of articles argue against the deaths, injuries and captivity of cetaceans by humans. In connection with my work on dolphins, I am a Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics. For more information, see socratescomestowallstreet.com and indefenseofdolphins.com.
