I am Professor Emeritus of Management at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT USA. I was strongly influenced by the social justice and women's movements in my country as I was coming of age and embarking on my career, and I have been researching, writing, and teaching about gender issues in the workplace ever since. The goal of all my work is to offer practical steps to achieving a workplace in which all employees can reach their leadership potential, full advantage is taken of the potential contributions of all employees, and all employees can experience work-family balance, regardless of their gender.
