Stephanie Tyler / SE Jakes started reading romances when her daughter was born with serious medical problems and she began writing romance because she wanted to pay it forward and give HEAs (Happily Ever Afters) to anyone who might find themselves in a similar situation. Stephanie is married with two children and lives in New York.
