I am the Director of the Emergency Ultrasound Division at Massachusetts General Hospital and work in the emergency department there. I believe strongly that point of care ultrasound has the potential to revolutionize diagnostic imaging - not just in the emergency department but throughout medicine and share this vision with many enthusiasts throughout the world which is what makes it so fun!

I owe many thanks to my colleagues at MGH, my colleagues at WINFOCUS, the ultrasound section at the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine and many many others for helping to make the case for clinician performed point of care ultrasound.
