Steven W. Poser

Steven Poser is a renowned Elliott Wave expert. Mr. Poser, in addition to writing "Applying Elliott Wave Theory Profitably", authored a chapter on Elliott Wave in "New Thinking in Technical Analysis". He was a top finisher in the Bridge (Knight Ridder) News trading game and was a top ranked technical analyst covering fixed income, foreign exchange, equity and commodity markets during his time at Deutsche Bank. He famously called the bottom in the Japanese stock market to the day (and was quoted in Barrons Online that day). He also forecast the the 2000 peak in the S&P 500 within 2-3 points in "New Thinking in Technical Analysis".

Mr. Poser still teaches technical analysis, while working as Managing Director, Strategic Analysis at the New York Stock Exchange.
