Mark Blake has been writing about music and popular culture since 1989. His
books include ‘Shine On: Pink Floyd – The Definitive Oral History’,
‘Dreams: The Many Lives Of Fleetwood Mac’, ‘Magnifico! – The A-Z Of Queen’,
‘Bring It On Home’ (a critically acclaimed biography of Led Zeppelin’s
notorious manager Peter Grant), and 2007’s original best-selling Pink Floyd
biography, ‘Pigs Might Fly’ (published as ‘Comfortably Numb’ in the US).
Blake is a long-time contributor to the UK’s biggest-selling music
monthly, Mojo. His work has also appeared in Classic Rock, Rolling Stone,
Billboard and the Daily Telegraph, and he has worked on official projects
for Pink Floyd, The Who, Queen and the Jimi Hendrix estate.
