Jeffrey Geiger

Jeffrey Geiger established the Centre for Film and Screen Media at the University of Essex, UK. He is author of 'Facing the Pacific: Polynesia and the US Imperial Imagination'; 'American Documentary Film: Projecting the Nation' ("Highly recommended," Choice; Finalist for the Theater Library Association Book Award); co-editor of 'Film Analysis, A Norton Reader' (2nd ed 2013) and 'Cinematicity in Media History'. He has written for The Times Literary Supplement, The Guardian, and other journals, as well as authoring numerous articles, book chapters, and reviews.
